Providing the website
We use Google Cloud Run to provide this website. Page requests involve technical information such as your IP address, request time and address, browser information and, where available, the referring page. This supports delivery, troubleshooting and security. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website.
The hosting services process data under their respective data-processing terms. Processing outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States, is possible. Applicable safeguards include adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. Technical request logs in the Cloud project are normally deleted after 30 days. Cloud administrative audit logs have separate retention rules.
Email and telephone enquiries
When you contact us, we process your contact details, message and print-project information to respond and, where relevant, prepare a quote or handle an order. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual enquiries, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other messages, based on our interest in responding.
The contact section opens our enquiry area at www.x-print.biz or the existing anfrage.x-print.biz address. There you can submit contact and project details and artwork files to XPrint for processing. Alternatively, you can contact us by email.
Enquiries with artwork files
In our enquiry area, your contact information, product configuration, notes and voluntarily uploaded files are stored together for authorised XPrint staff to process. Files are automatically checked for malware and permitted formats; this does not replace manual prepress checks. An enquiry is not an order or print approval.
Processing supports your enquiry under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; for business contacts it also relies on our legitimate interest in communication under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Enquiries and files remain available for 90 days from starting the enquiry, followed by automatic cleanup. Physical deletion and configured recovery periods may take longer. Confirmed orders may be archived separately.
Google reCAPTCHA loads only after your separate consent and when you submit. It may process IP addresses, browser and interaction data and use cookies. The legal bases are Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where applicable, Section 25(1) TDDDG. You may enquire by email without consenting. You can withdraw consent by unchecking the option before submission or by email afterwards; prior processing remains lawful.
Quote and enquiry share product configurations, quantities and the delivery selection. Functional quote drafts are stored in the browser. Unsent contact details and selected files stay in the open page memory, not in the quote draft or address bar. Prices are recalculated on the server. See the enquiry privacy notice for details of storage, recipients and deletion periods.
Online pricing and quote drafts
Product configuration and pricing take place on quote.x-print.biz. Links from this website pass the selected language, product reference and return path. Prices, contact details and cart contents are not included in the handoff URL.
The calculator uses browser storage for language and quote drafts. Session storage supports the current session; locally stored drafts may remain afterwards. You can remove website data in your browser. This storage supports the configuration and draft recovery you request; the legal bases are Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG and Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
When you submit an enquiry in the calculator, the contact and project information entered there is transmitted to XPrint for processing. No automated decision with legal effect is made; a displayed price does not replace order confirmation.
Cookies, fonts and external links
Only with your optional consent do we store the advertising source (UTM parameters), ad click code, landing path and timestamps in xprint_ad_source and xprint_ad_choice cookies for at most 90 days. Your choice applies across www.x-print.biz, quote.x-print.biz and anfrage.x-print.biz. On submission, we link the source to the enquiry reference for internal advertising evaluation. The basis is consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG); your allow or decline preference is stored to respect your choice. Declining does not affect prices or enquiries. Privacy settings lets you withdraw for future collection and delete the source cookie. For submitted enquiries, contact info@x-print.biz with the reference. Attribution is no longer used for advertising evaluation after 90 days. This version does not send enquiry outcomes to Google Ads or load Google advertising or analytics scripts.
Fonts and product images load through our own website address. This version does not embed third-party maps or videos, social-media tracking or Google Analytics. The background video loads through our own website.
Google Maps and review links connect you to Google when you click them. The destination service then applies its own privacy information. This website does not currently display automatically retrieved Google reviews.
Retention and recipients
We retain enquiries for as long as needed to handle them and, where applicable, fulfil the contract. Data may be retained longer where statutory retention duties apply or where needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. It is then deleted unless another lawful retention reason applies.
Access is limited to the people handling the enquiry and the hosting and communication service providers used for that purpose. If you place an order, necessary information may also be shared with the payment, production and delivery providers involved. We do not disclose contact details to third parties for advertising.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time for future processing.
Where processing relies on legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may object to processing for direct marketing at any time. Contact info@x-print.biz to exercise your rights.
You may complain to a data-protection supervisory authority, including the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia.
